Digital technology is a rapidly growing sector with a focus on the future, and is continuously hiring young graduates and new talent worldwide. On the EuraTechnologies Lille and Roubaix campuses, schools and organisations offer digital training for all.

  • Participants can train in various digital professions, from coding and software development to digital marketing, smartphone app and website creation, and much, much more.
  • Some of these digital training courses are accessible without a qualification. Others are specifically designed for people in professional retraining, after an initial or several different professional experiences, or for entrepreneurs looking to acquire new skills alongside their main activity.
  • Some of the schools and training centres set up on the EuraTechnologies campuses can issue professional qualifications, and some are certified "Grande Ecole du Numérique" (specialist digital school).
  • These workshops and training courses are offered as face-to-face sessions, often include hackathons with projects to submit, and are sometimes accessible online as a MOOC - Massive Open Online Course.

BTech coding training:

EuraTechnologies organises a coding training course known as BTech, in partnership with the city of Lille, as part of the EuraTechnologies Learning District in Lille. This six-week courses is open to job seekers aged between 18 and 30 years old, living in Lille, Lomme or Hellemes, and who want to access an introduction to computer coding with the aim of returning to work.

Thanks to the geographic proximity to startups and tech companies within the EuraTechnologies campuses, participants can potentially find opportunities on site including internships, apprenticeships, vocational contracts or employment. The Lille campus is home to over 300 companies and startups, including major groups such as Cap Gemini, IBM Services Center France, Microsoft, OVH, Engie, SNCF, Vinci Energies, and the IBM Security Operations Centre (SOC).

New specialisms are emerging to meet the sector’s needs, and the traditional webmaster of the 1990s has split into several roles: the Content Manager for managing digital content, the SEO manager for search engine optimisation, the web designer for the user experience on web and mobile media, the developer – integrator for technical management of internet code.

At EuraTechnologies Roubaix, in the Blanchemaille building, the e-commerce school of the Showroom Privé Foundation offers free six-month e-commerce training for all adults interested in digital tech.
